‘O’Romeo’ box office collection Day 1 and Day 2 Live: Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimris film opens with more than Rs 8 crore

The twisted tale of love, intense chemistry, and profound pain, ‘O’Romeo starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri made it to the theatres this Friday. According to the trade reports, the movie made a decent number on its opening day and is looking forward to benefiting from the weekend surge. Though on day 1 it failed to hit the double-digit mark, day 2 will ensure that the collection reaches new heights. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, this dark tale of love, passion and action opened with Rs 8.5 crore on Friday, according to Sacnilk. With this number, it has already outshone the first-day collection of some of Shahid Kapoor’s earlier releases, including ‘Deva.’Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film opened with Rs 5.50 crore. Then there’s ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,’ with Kriti Sanon, which made Rs 6.70 crore on day one.

The overall occupancy of ‘O Romeo on Friday, February 13, stood at 14.86%. Morning shows saw a decent start with 8.63%, which soared to 12.17% in the afternoon. The evening shows saw a marginal rise with 13.66% occupancy. And in the night, the maximum footfall was recorded with 24.97% occupancy.
