India will soon be the epicenter of the global artificial intelligence (AI) landscape as it is hoting the “India AI Impact Summit 2026” – one of the biggest AI summits in the global south. The event will host a huge gathering of some of the world’s most influential tech leaders. The key attendees include Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang and Meta’s Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang.
India AI summit dates, location and all things to know
The India AI summit is scheduled for February 16–20 in the National Capital, and the event will take place in Bharat Mandapam. On every single day, there will be keynotes, panel discussions and roundtables at Bharat Mandapam/ Sushma Swaraj Bhawan/ Ambedkar Bhawan.
The five-day programme will cover policy, research, industry and public engagement, and It will be anchored on 3 foundational pillars, or ‘Sutras’: People, Planet and Progress. The India AI Impact Expo is expected to feature over 300 exhibitors, from 30 countries, across more than 10 thematic pavilions.
At this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos, IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that nearly $100 billion in new investments are coming during the upcoming India AI Impact Summit.
“Already $70 billion investment is happening and we expect that another $50-$80 billion investment will be coming during the AI Summit. I wouldnt be surprised if we get another $100 billion of investment,” he said. These investments will span across artificial intelligence, semiconductors, infrastructure, and energy, he said.

5-star hotels in Delhi fully booked, prices reach Rs 25 lakh for one night
According to a report by news agency PTI, five-star hotels in Delhi, including The Taj Palace and The Oberoi, are cashing in on peak demand by offering their luxury suites at a staggering Rs 25 lakh plus taxes for the check-in on February 18 with next day check-out. Standard twin-bed rooms at five-star hotels are also being offered at a steep price for the February 18 check-in, around the peak dates of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 on February 19-20.
The Taj Palace is charging a standard rate of Rs 90,000 per night excluding taxes for a luxury suite with king bed pool view, whereas The Oberoi is offering a luxury suite for Rs 3,25,000 per night excluding taxes and fees. For February 18, Taj Palace is offering the Garden Luxury Suite with Private Terrace at Rs 25,00,000 per night.
The Luxury Suite at The Leela Palace in New Delhi was available for Rs 17,29,490 per night, excluding taxes and fees, for February 18 check-in, whereas for February 11 check-in, the luxury suite with a balcony is being offered at a much lower rate of Rs 2,94,490 per night, excluding taxes and fees, searches on its website showed.
For the February 19 check-in, ITC Mauryas Towers Suite is being offered at a flexible rate of Rs 1,15,000 per night, whereas for the February 11 check-in, it is being offered at Rs 37,000 per night.
