‘Toxic’ teaser out: Yash as Raya unleashes fierce aura: ‘It’s over, when I say it’s over’

Rocking Star Yash will be returning to the big screens with the upcoming gangster action thriller ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’. The makers have today released the official teaser of the film ahead of its grand release on March 19. Let’s take a look at the newly released teaser, which came after Yash’s bold “Daddys home” character reveal.The 2-minute teaser seems to be set at a party. It opens with flamboyance and action packed shoots where the makers give a hint that the audience can expect mercyless killing and grand sequences. They tease that the everthing is different this time, the war, the treachery, where Raya is told that he can’t go against them and survive. The teaser includes grand action sequences in a Royal Circus in the air, in the snow and basically everywhere. Raya’s fierce aura is shown. He is saying, “It’s over, when I say it’s over. Till then, have some manners.” The teaser ends with an interesting shots as Yash is seen in a different avatar, killing with a chainsaw.

The makers have released the teaser in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

Cast of ‘Toxic’

The film features Nayanthara as Ganga, Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi playing Elizabeth, Tara Sutaria as Rebecca and Rukimi Vasanth as Mellisa in key roles. The makers have already unvieled their first looks.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas and co-written with Yash, the film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in multiple languages.

Plot of ‘Toxic’

The plot of the film is said to be set in Goa between the early 1940s and the 1970s. It will be a gangster action thriller where crime syndicates will be seen. The film talks about smuggling routes, crime gangs, and fear. It will tell the story of a man who makes an empire with blood, fear, and betrayal.

‘Toxic’ clash with ‘Dhurandhar’

It is set for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, coinciding with the festivals of Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa. The movie will clash with Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ directed by Aditya Dhar.
